Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is hosting several holiday events throughout the valley this weekend, December 2-3, to help local children and to celebrate the season. 

Below is a list of the events:

  • 4th Annual Fill the Bus Toy Drive
    • LVMPD will be in the Target parking lot to fill a Clark County Detention Center bus with toys. They are asking for new toys that will go to Tier 1 elementary-aged children in the Clark County School District. This event is Saturday at 6480 Sky Point Drive from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Women of Metro Fill the Bus Toy Drive
    • LVMPD will be in the Walmart Parking lot collecting new toys for children at Child Haven and St. Jude's Ranch for Children. The event is Saturday and Sunday at 8060 W. Tropical Parkway from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • The Christmas Experience
    • LVMPD will be giving away free Christmas trees to the first 100 visitors at their indoor Christmas celebration. There will be games, live music, food trucks, and vendors. The celebration is Sunday at Liberty Baptist Church at 6501 West Lake Mead Boulevard from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m
