The U.S. Department of Transportation approved the first-ever nonstop flight between Las Vegas and China on Monday.
Beginning Dec. 2, 2016, Hainan Airlines will offer round-trip tickets to Beijing starting at $650. For holiday travel between Dec. 10 and Dec. 24, the price will jump to $1,100.
The new route will feature Boeing 787 Dreamliners with lie-flat seats for business class travelers.
With the introduction of hotels, programming, and amenities geared toward Chinese visitors, the new route aims to solidify Las Vegas as a major destination for Chinese traveling to the United States.
