UFC fighter Ronda Rousey is auctioning items to raise funds and awareness for Las Vegas families affected by domestic violence.
Beginning Oct. 6, Rousey will host an online auction of autographed memorabilia with proceeds benefiting two domestic violence nonprofit support agencies -- Noah’s Animal House, a Nevada-based pet boarding facility located next door and in partnership with the Shade Tree Shelter, a Southern Nevada 24-hour accessible domestic violence shelter.
Noah’s Animal House has helped more than 1,000 pets by providing 80,000 nights of boarding to stay close to their families at the Shade Tree Shelter, an emergency shelter for women and children in crisis. Both charities are free of charge to families transitioning out of an abusive situation, often times helping them throughout their period of crisis.
A 10-day online auction of popular autographed Rousey memorabilia will be available for bidding beginning Thursday, Oct. 6, at 6 p.m. through Sunday, Oct. 16, at 6 p.m. here. All proceeds of Rousey’s autographed memorabilia will benefit both charities.
Items for auction include Ronda Rousey autographed: Strikeforce Fight Shorts from Tate vs. Rousey Championship fight in a framed shadow box, UFC replica belt, UFC gloves (multiple pairs available), Reebok jersey, My Fight/Your Fight poster and UFC 190 Fight poster.
