ORIGINAL STORY
The Animal Foundation? is celebrating ?World Spay Day? by “spaying it forward” thanks to the Petco Foundation.
On Tuesday, Feb. 23, The Animal Foundation, located off North Mojave Road, offered more than 400 free spay and neuter appointments. There are two ways pet owners can book an appointment for a dog or cat.
First, pet owners can call 1844ITSSPAYDAY between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. (or until appointments are filled) to book a future appointment to get their dog or cat spayed or neutered for free.
The second way to book a future appointment is to come to The Animal Foundation clinic in person between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. (or until appointments are filled).
Once all appointments are filled, pet owners can go to ?www.animalfoundation.com? and add themselves to the World Spay Day waitlist. If one of our future free appointments becomes available, pet owners on the waitlist will be contacted in the order in which they are received.
The Animal Foundation also offers ?lowcost spay and neuter appointments? every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
