The Animal Foundation announced Saturday that it is filling up fast following July’s Clear the Shelter Day and is discounting dog adoption fees for select dogs during the “Bark to School Special.”
Through Aug. 22, adoption fees for all dogs six months and older are $25, and fees for pit bulls six months and older are waived. Adoption fees for cats six months and older are also being discounted through Sunday, Aug. 7, during the “Cool Cats of Summer Special.”
There are more than 90 dogs and 45 cats available for adoption. Adoption fees for dogs typically range from $25 to $250, and cat adoption fees are $25.
All adopted dogs and cats come spayed or neutered, microchipped, uptodate on vaccines, and more. An additional $10 city license fee may apply. Adopters must complete an adoption counseling process. Adoptions can and will be denied in the even the placement is not in the best interest of the pet.
Reduced fees for dogs are valid through Aug. 22 at The Animal Foundation’s Campus Adoption Center, located at 655 N. Mojave Road in Las Vegas. It is open daily from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
