There's a new ride service in the valley.
The LEXNA driver alliance offers riders the ability to choose their drivers from a pool of highly-screened drivers.
If a woman passenger feels more comfortable with a female driver she'll be able to request a ride from our Lexna Purple platform designed for women by women. Female drivers will be identified by the distinctive LEXNA Purple trade dress located on the windshield in the lower right corner.
Male drivers will be identified by the distinctive LEXNA Blue trade dress on the windshiled.
LEXNA says that it believes that identifying the drivers in this way will help reduce the anxiety of women who have become unnerved of reports of driver sexual assaults.
To promote the soft launching of the new service, LEXNA will be providing free rides at the following events in Los Angeles, Palm Springs and Las Vegas.
