LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — There's a new sheriff in town or rather, a mounted horse patrol.
The Tule Springs Fossil Beds National Monument in the Centennial Hills area has a new mounted horse patrol.
The patrol is currently made up of five volunteers who are working as an extension of the National Park Service to care for and protect the Tule Springs area in the northwest valley.
The organization is now looking for more volunteers. To find out ways to volunteer visit ProtectorsOfTuleSprings.org.
