HENDERSON (KTNV) — A ceremony to break ground on the Green Valley Town Center Apartments will take place at 9 a.m. Jan. 26 at the building site on Olympic Avenue, just west of Mountain Vista Street.

The site is located near local businesses, restaurants and shopping. It will be situated behind Barley’s Casino and Brewing Company, and have a short walk to the Ethel M Chocolate Factory and Botanical Cactus Garden.

The 258,858-square-foot development will contain 23 apartment buildings, consisting of three-story buildings and carriage homes, which are expected to be available for renters by the fall of 2021.

In addition to a clubhouse, fitness room, pool and spa, the property also will feature a dog park, fire pit lounge, putting green and pickleball court. The property also will host a co-working space for home and remote workers.

Henderson Mayor Debra March and other dignitaries are scheduled to attend.

Phil Ralston, president of American Nevada Company, will be leading the speaker lineup, and Natalie Rastello, director of acquisitions, will be on-site to represent partner Tradewind Properties.

American Nevada Company — a longstanding force in the valley’s development for five decades — has been an active partner in new residential and commercial projects in Southern Nevada.

Green Valley Town Center Apartments is the company’s first project in partnership with Northern Nevada-based Tradewind Properties, managed by the Rastello family.

Construction will be handled by Pier Construction and Development.

For Tradewind Properties, the project completes the search for multi-family opportunities in the Las Vegas Valley.
