So much tequila, so little time.
July 24 is National Tequila Day and there are many places in Las Vegas to enjoy whatever kind of tequila you like.
Here are some places around the valley that can help you celebrate the unoffical holiday:
Raise a shot glass for National Tequila Day at Hussong's Cantina. Originally recognized as the oldest and best known cantina in all of Mexico, there are two locations to choose from, including The Shoppes at Mandalay Place and Boca Park Fashion Village. Guests can celebrate with the Original Margarita (Sauza Blue Reposado tequila, agave nectar, and fresh squeezed lime juice), as well as its 'margaritas of the month' such as a Citrus Berry Margarita (Mandalay Place) and Raspberry and Lemon Margarita Cooler (Boca Park). Plus, tequila lovers can imbibe with 25% off tequila shots (all brands) to honor the special occasion. In addition, guests can mix and mingle with shot girls and mariachis, as well as special guest Las Vegas Pee Wee, Pee Wee Herman celebrity impersonator, as he sings and dances to "Tequila."
The Watermelon Fuego-Rita at N9NE Steakhouse inside The Palms hotel-casino is made with house-infused jalapeno Patron, watermelon liquor and hellfire shrub bitters offered at $14.
Hyde Bellagio offers a very special drink named the Coconut Press made with made with Casamigo Silver tequila, coconut puree and fresh lime juice shaken with a splash of Sprite and soda water ($18) or you might want to try their Cucumber Watermelon Margarita made with Avion tequila, Grand Marnier, muddled cucumber and watermelon and fresh lime juice for $18.
Hyde at T-Mobile Arena serves a cocktail called Hornets Ankles. It is made with Casamigo Blanco tequila, fresh lime juice and honey syrup and is available for $18.
Baja Miguel's also has a couple of offerings. The Baja Pitcher ($22.75) is filled with Miguel's freshly-made margarita made with Sauza Gold tequila. The pitcher holds 64 oz. and comes with up to 5 glasses. Or, you can order one of their specially-flavored margaritas for just $8 a glass. Margaritas include the Built for Speed, Primo Picante, Gaughan Fishing, Skinny Mini, Corvette Summer and Watermelon Crush.
Casamigos Tequila and Topgolf have also joined forces for National Tequila Day. Cocktails include the Casamigos Bloody Maria, Casamigos Watermelon Margarita, and the Wingman (a Casamigos tequila twist on the classic sidecar). The National Tequila Day celebration will take place from noon to 4 p.m. and there will be a DJ spinning music and giving away prizes.
On The Border will celebrate with $3 house margaritas, $3 shots of El Jimador and $6 shots of Patron Silver.
Speaking of Patron, the tequila giant recommends the Silver 75 for National Tequila Day.
