LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — A major milestone at a Las Vegas valley hospital was hit this weekend. More than 50 people battling COVID-19 at Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center have been discharged.

The milestone was marked by the discharge of patient David Reifer on Saturday. Healthcare worker lined the hallways to cheer him on.
Doctors at the hospital say they are happy to see these patients go home to their families.
