On Friday, Madame Tussauds Las Vegas launched the wax figure of one of Marvel’s most inspiring superheroes, Captain America, at Nellis Air Force Base.
The exclusive appearance by Captain America marked the first time the figure was revealed in Las Vegas, in advance of its upcoming debut at Madame Tussauds Las Vegas. The life-size figure is based off of Chris Evans’ portrayal of this iconic superhero.
To show its support for our troops on Veterans Day, Madame Tussauds Las Vegas unveiled the Captain America wax figure at Nellis Air Force Base.
Throughout the “75 Years of Airpower” weekend air show, all 250,000 guests expected to attend will have the opportunity to “meet” and take selfies with Captain America.
The opening ceremony began with The Wings of Blue Demonstration Team parachuting in to present the American flag, followed by a performance of the national anthem.
Nellis then conducted a Thunderbird flyover and Madame Tussauds Las Vegas unveiled its Captain America wax figure.
Nellis Air Force Base’s General, Honor Guards and The Wings of Blue Demonstration Team joined Captain America for a photo opp.
