LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — A Las Vegas resident cashed in on his recent visit to a local casino.
According to Boyd Gaming, a local man hit a $115,044 EZ Pai Gow Poker jackpot at the Eastside Cannery hotel-casino on St. Patrick's Day.
The player bet a $1 progressive side bet and scored the prize with a seven-card straight flush at 6:15 p.m.
This jackpot was the third massive winner produced by the game at the property in the last nine months, according to casino representatives.
On Feb. 7, another resident won $216,720. This winner bet a $1 progressive side bet and scored $211,720 with a seven-card straight flush, and parlayed an additional $5 bet into a bonus side bet prize of $5,000, totaling $216,720.
Also, another jackpot of $166,433 was hit on June 10. This player bet a $1 progressive bet and scored $165,433 with a seven-card straight flush with a joker, along with an additional $1 bet scoring a bonus side prize of $1,000, for a total win of $166,433.
The Eastside Cannery hotel-casino is located at 5255 Bouler Highway in Las Vegas.
