LAS VEGAS (KTNV) -- A local teen is stepping into the ring for the very first time.

On the outside, Aubrei Winn is your average 19-year-old. She's a full-time student pursuing her business degree at College of Southern Nevada and is holding a steady job at Chin Chin Cafe and Sushi Bar at the New York-New York Las Vegas.

However, there's something that Aubrei is doing that's not so average.

Since the age of 5-years-old, Aubrei grew up practicing the art of Muay Thai Kickboxing at Master Toddy's gym.

However, she didn't fall into Muay Thai by mistake.

Following in the footsteps of her motherArdra Hernandez, she has seen her mom win 2 world titles in the ring with an impressive record of 12-2. Hernandez also starred on the hit reality show, "Fight Girls" which aired on the Oxygen Network in 2006. At 9-years-old, Aubrei also made several appearances on the show.

Now, Aubrei is practicing 6 days a week shaping up for her very first amateur fight at Uprising MMA.

Her first opponent will be Maura Coursey from Utah, fighting in the 120-pound weight class. They will face off at The Orleans inside the Mardi Gras Ballroom June 17. They will be the only female fight of the evening.

Chin Chin Cafe and Sushi Bar is proudly sponsoring Aubrei in this fight.

The eyes of the sport will be on Aubrei as she is looking to capture her first win in an event that is Positively Las Vegas!

Tickets start at $25, and can be purchased by calling 702-365-7070.
