Lisa Stone of San Diego had asked her neighbor who was visiting Las Vegas to bring her back her favorite stuffed artichoke from Carmine’s in The Forum Shops in a cooler.
In a mix up at the restaurant, Stone’s bag was switched with another take out order and her neighbor was given the wrong bag.
After the neighbor delivered the food to Stone and realized it was the wrong order, she called the restaurant to let them know.
To make up for their mistake, a manager and chef at Carmine’s decided to get in the car and drive five hours to deliver the stuffed artichokes along with a few other Carmine’s favorites to Stone and her husband who is finishing up cancer treatment.
