Las Vegas doctors Jesse Falk, DMD, and Michael Moody, DMD, the oral surgeons of Canyon Oral & Facial Surgery Dental Implant Experts, are relaunching their second Smile Again program, to provide another Las Vegas-area resident with this life-changing opportunity.
The charitable program will give one community member who suffers from extremely poor oral health a $50,000 smile makeover through the All-on-4 Treatment Concept. The treatment will replace the recipient’s broken and decaying teeth with permanent implant dentures that look and function like natural teeth.
The All-on-4 treatment concept is an excellent choice for many patients because it is a permanent way to restore an entire upper or lower arch of teeth while improving oral health and function.
The treatment uses as few as four dental implant posts to secure the teeth permanently to the jaw. Those who have multiple missing, broken, or decaying teeth find it affects their eating, speaking, and overall health. The All-on-4 treatment concept restores oral health and gives the recipient the beautiful and healthy smile that they deserve.
The oral surgeons chose two recipients for their 2019 Smile Again program, and both women know how truly life-changing the program is.
Tiffany Wright and Elke Kim were selected from more than 100 applicants for the oral surgeon’s first Smile Again program. Tiffany was living with only 11 teeth and is a victim of domestic violence. In 2009, her then-husband knocked out her front teeth. Now as a single mother, she also has Hypophosphatemic rickets, a rare disorder in which the bones become painfully soft and bend easily due to low levels of phosphate in the blood.
Elke is missing 15 teeth and is in constant pain from her decaying and broken teeth. She was born in Germany and was adopted when she was a child. Now she is a stay-at-home mother of two because she is too embarrassed to apply to jobs due to her smile. The women have already begun their smile transformation journey and are thrilled to have a new life of health and happiness.
Canyon Oral & Facial Surgery Dental Implant Experts will be partnering with restorative dentist Dr. Ryan Martz of Meadows Family Dental & Implants and Dr. Michael Flores of Flores Family Dental, to complete the procedure and give the recipient the new beautiful smile they deserve.
The application period for the Smile Again program runs through Sept. 24.
