Rí Rá Las Vegas raised $7,000 for the St. Baldrick's Foundation on Saturday at its annual head-shaving fundraiser.
The St. Baldrick's Foundation is a national organization dedicated to funding research for childhood cancer. They've partnered with Rí Rá for the past five years, raising a total of $82,000.
This year's event featured celebrity shavers Alex Goude of Twisted Vegas and Jeff Civillico of Las Vegas Good News. Local barbers from The Art of Shaving also volunteered their time to shave more than 30 heads throughout the day. Guests enjoyed live music from The Black Donnellys, who previously set two world records for the longest marathon guitar solo (114 hours) and the longest gig (372 hours).
Rí Rá Las Vegas is an authentic Irish pub located inside The Shoppes at Mandalay Place.The pub hosts live entertainment seven nights a week in a music room constructed with artifacts dating back to 1890 from the Olympia Theater in Dublin, Ireland.
