Life Time Green Valley, located at 121 Carnegie Street in Henderson, will host ‘Yin & Violin’ yoga class to benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital from 2-3:30 p.m. on March 2.

Participants will be guided through a 90-minute Yin format yoga class and taught specialized movements that are designed to create optimal relaxation for the mind and body. The class will be taught by Life Time yoga teacher Randall Nester. Throughout the class, Rebecca Ramsey, professional violinist and current member of Celine Dion’s ensemble of her Las Vegas show, will play live music to yogis.

Donations from the ‘Yin & Violin’ class will be used to benefit St. Jude in their effort to fight childhood cancer. Participants are encouraged to donate $10 to reserve a mat in the class. Attendees who make a donation of $25 or more will be invited to attend a social at Life Time’s VIP Poolside Bar after the class to enjoy light bites and refreshments. All donations will be accepted at the door the day of the event.

Life Time’s ‘Yin & Violin’ event is open to club members and guests. More information can be found by contacting the Green Valley club at 702.802.7300.

In addition to Yin & Violin, Life Time Green Valley is also set to host Ride for a Reason, an indoor cycle event on Apr. 13 to benefit St. Jude and the Life Time Foundation. Registration is now open at stjude.org/rideforareason.
