LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — The ski and snowboard resort just outside of the Las Vegas valley is set to open for the 2019-2020 season very soon.
Lee Canyon and its Hillside Lodge open on Dec. 14 after closing down for months of renovations.

The ski lifts start running at 9 a.m.
The resort says it expects both the Bluebird and Rabbit Peak chairs -- which service beginner, intermediate and freestyle terrain -- to be operating for opening day.
So far this year, Lee Canyon has received 43 inches of snow.

Lift tickets can be purchased online in advance of opening day for almost 20 percent off.
Lee Canyon’s 2019-2020 winter season is expected to run through March 2020, weather permitting.
