A theater performer who died in a crash last year will be honored at the Rose Parade early next year.
Ahead of the 128th parade in January, Palm Mortuaries and the Nevada Donor Network hosted the event at Desert Breeze Park to honor Russell Slouffman Jr. as an organ donor. Five patients received a donation from him.
He died in a crash near the Welcome to Las Vegas sign.
