Students have until April 25 to enter an art contest hosted by Nevada's recreational parks. The contest, hosted by Forever Resorts and the Lake Mead National Recreation Area, is open for K-12 students and encourages participants to design an image incorporating the themes of #FindYourPark and #EveryKidInAPark.
One grand prize winner will have his or her design incorporated into a collectible item sold at Lake Mead's visitor center. The winner will also receive a 4-day, 3-night houseboat vacation for themselves and their family on Lake Mead or Lake Mohave, provided by Forever Resorts.
Additionally, the teacher of the grand-prize-winning student will also receive a family four pack of Black Canyon River Adventure tour tickets.
First-prize winners will receive a family four-pack of tickets for a smooth-water rafting tour on the Colorado River, also provided by Black Canyon River Adventures.
