A car club is collecting Hot Wheels for a local charity.

Street Breed is a local car club. They meet every Wednesday but the club's Sept. 27 meeting will be a little different.

They are collecting donations for the Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation. Specifically, they're asking for Hot Wheels, but they will accept other toys.

They're hoping to change how car clubs are seen.

"My grandma actually passed from cancer and it was kind of a difficult time. We've had some people in the club as well who've had family members with the same case," said Baha Mial, the vice president of Street Breed car club.

The event starts at 8 p.m. Wednesday near South Rainbow Boulevard and West Sahara Avenue.
