Kids of all ages were able to enjoy Junior Refuge Ranger Day on Sunday at the Desert National Wildfire Refuge.
There were a ton of free activities including ranger-guided walks, games, and touch tables with animal skins.
Several children earned their own Junior Refuge Ranger Badge by completing specific activities.
If your child was unable to attend the event on Sunday, there are free Junior Refuge Ranger booklets available throughout the year at the center.
The center is only 20 minutes from Las Vegas. The booklets can be completed at any of the four refuge in Southern Nevada.
