Imagine Dragons frontman Dan Reynolds names son in honor of 1 October victims

Dan Reynolds, lead singer of Imagine Dragons, announced the birth of a son named Valentine on Oct. 1.

Reynolds was also born in Las Vegas, the 7th of 9 children (he now has four).

He is the only remaining original member of Imagine Dragons. The band got its start in Utah but got its big break in Las Vegas after performing at the Bite of Las Vegas Festival in 2010.

He and his wife, Aja Volkman, met in 2011. They have 3 daughters, including a set of twins, and now a son.

Reynolds says he named his son in honor of the 1 October victims.
