To benefit HopeLink of Southern Nevada (HopeLink) in its endeavor to help prevent homelessness, one family in Henderson will showcase their private residence as the “Candy Cane House,” a holiday themed walk-through event that is free to the community beginning Dec. 11 at 6 p.m.
Although free to the community, Candy Cane House owners Victor Cardenas and his husband Joey Cardona, are asking for hygiene related donations that can be provided directly to HopeLink’s cause.
The Christmas-themed event will take place at 366 S. Milan St. in Henderson for two weekends – Dec.11 through Dec. 13 and Dec. 18 through Dec. 20 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
The Candy Cane House will feature over 30 decorated Christmas trees, 16,000 lights throughout the residence and free treats and hot chocolate, in addition to various photo opportunities.
Attending guests are asked to donate brand new hygiene related products for HopeLink, including but not limited to razors, shampoos, tampons and toothbrushes.
