Residents have the opportunity to learn about historic preservation and share their thoughts about desired preservation sites, neighborhoods and buildings during a public outreach meeting to discuss the Henderson Historic Resources Plan.
Residents are invited to participate and give input on areas of historic importance in the community.
The meeting will be held at the James Gibson Library on April 19 from 5:30 p.m. until 7 p.m. to learn about the development of the Henderson Historic Resources Plan and the benefits of historic preservation. The HHRP will identify neighborhoods, buildings and other structures of historically significant age and outline strategies to determine eligibility for nomination to local, state or national historic registries.
The HHRP is funded by the Nevada Historic Preservation Fund, a program of the Nevada State Historic Preservation Office.
