The annual cowboy-themed Helldorado Parade was held Saturday in downtown Las Vegas. The parade route travels north on Fourth Street from Glass Avenue to Stewart Avenue.

The parade celebrates the city's Western roots with marching bands, equestrian groups, civic groups, floats, and more. Melissa T. and Todd Michaels from Coyote 102.7 were at the parade to announce the entries.

The Helldorado Days festival started on May 12 at 6 p.m. at the Third Street Stage in the Fremont Street Experience. Mayor Carolyn G. Goodman, Pro Bull Riders Inc., and the Benevolent and Protective Order of the Elks Lodge 1468 were present for the kickoff event.

Helldorado Days wraps up Sunday.
