Helping the fight against muscular dystrophy, the Henderson Fire Department and the International Association of Firefighters are kicking off their "Fill the Boot" campaign.
Firefighters from all over the valley will be hitting the streets and storefronts with boots in hand asking anyone and everyone to make a donation.
The money will help kids and adults with muscle-debilitating diseases go to a special summer camp. It's something 14-year-old Jake Roszele looks forward to every year.
"We get to take time off and not worry about what kind of disease we have," he said. " We can do whatever we want there."
Organizers are hoping to send more than 40 local kids to the camp.
