A local school honored a king and queen at its homecoming celebration but also donated thousands of dollars to feed hungry Nevadans.
For this year's Calvary Chapel Spring Valley homecoming celebration, the K-12 school decided to raise money for Three Square food bank.
For weeks, families donated money and on Friday night, the school presented a check for $4,500. Three Square says this is enough to pay for 13,500 meals.
