Donut Bar in Downtown Las Vegas makes about 1,000 donuts per day from Monday-Friday, and about 3,000 per day on the weekends. But you'll rarely catch them open past noon - they always sell out.
It's not hard to figure out why. Their menu selection varies daily, but it's always filled with eccentric bites like the Mud Pie (topped with a fudge glaze, Oreo cookie crumbs, peanut butter and marshmallow drizzle) or their Big Poppa Tart Donut (which is stuffed with a Pop Tart, then topped with a cake batter glaze, crumbled Pop Tarts, and sprinkles).
Recently, Donut Bar has ventured into more savory selections. Their newest menu item is a grilled cheese donut.
The sandwich is made with two gigantic cinnamon sugar donut, which are toasted on the griddle with plenty of butter. A mix of white and yellow cheddar is melted between the "buns," then the sandwich is served with a side of Sriracha mayo.
You can pick up the grilled cheese donut on weekends, but make sure you get there early. Employees at Donut Bar say that the sandwiches are usually the first to sell out.
