September is Bourbon Heritage Month and there's not a better place than Las Vegas to celebrate.
The Montecristo Cigar Bar at Caesars Palace is offering special flights from some of the country's finest producers of bourbon throughout the month. The flights include:
Jack Daniel’s Flight ($95): Jack Daniel's No. 7, Gentlemen Jack, Single Barrel, Sinatra, Sinatra Century
Jefferson’s Barrel Selection ($45): Jefferson's Reserve, Ocean, Groth Cask Finish
Bourbon Trail Experience ($35): Four Roses Yellow Label, Bulleit Bourbon, Maker's Mark, Wild Turkey 101
The bar, which was recently named one of Playboy's Top Bars of 2016, will also host complimentary tastings throughout the month where guests can sample pours of America’s native spirit, and learn more through tasting sessions with brand ambassadors from notable brands like Old Forester, Woodford Reserve, Bulleit and Jack Daniel’s.
The first tasting (Old Forester) will take place from 3 to 6 p.m. Sept. 9.

Yardbird Las Vegas is celebrating Bourbon Heritage Month with a special infused bourbon flight. Each flight features four one-ounce pours of hand-crafted bourbons. Bourbon flavors include bacon, apple spice, honey orange and salted maple. The flights cost $25 each and are available in the bar, lounge and main dining room of Yardbird at The Venetian.
Michael Mina PUB 1842 at MGM Grand is offering bourbon-center specials including the Bourbon BBQ Chicken Sandwich and "Bourbon Your Way" beverages throughout the month.
The Autumn Rose drink at Buddy V's Ristorante inside The Venetian is made with Four Roses bourbon, ancho reyes chili liqueur, cinnamon-spiced simple syrup, rhubarb bitters and cinnamon. It is served in a glass rimmed with sugar. And the Masala at The Venetian's Del Monico Steakhouse is made with Elijah Craig small-batch bourbon, masala chai tea syrup and star anise.
Or, enjoy a boozy shake at B&B Burger & Beer's picturesque patio. The Bourbon Cherry shake is made with vanilla gelato, bourbon and Amarena cherry.

The Boulevardier is made with Russell's Reserve 10 Year Bourbon, Carpano Antica Formula sweet vermouth and Campari.
