Village Square Third Thursday Car Show and Art Festival will be held at 9400 W. Sahara Avenue on July 19 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. with free family activities such as bounce house, face painting and balloon art, as well as music and car display. Friends of the Wild will be on hand facilitating interactions with animal guests for kids and adults. A blood drive will also be held by United Blood Services to address the summer shortage.
Village Square is partnering with United Blood Services throughout the summer months to help save lives. The goal is to collect 20 blood donations to support the ongoing need for blood during the summer months. Appointments may be scheduled at www.bloodhero.com by entering sponsor code: VILLAGESQUARE. Walk-ins are welcome. United Blood Services is now accepting 16 and 17 year-old donors with a Minor Donor Permit signed by a parent or legal guardian and a valid photo identification.
