If you've been in Las Vegas for any length of time, you have probably made the joke about how Las Vegas likes to blow things up.
It will be no different on June 14 when the demolition of the iconic Riviera hotel-casino on the Las Vegas Strip continues with the implosion of the taller of its two hotel towers.
The explosive event is scheduled for 2 a.m. and there will be plenty of people watching the event on television, online, from the site itself and at viewing parties.

One of those viewing parties is taking place at The Barrymore at Royal Resort on Convention Center Drive.
The Barrymore's patio and lounge area with floor-to-ceiling windows will allow for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to watch the 24-floor tower come down.
Guests will be able to enjoy the Social Hour menu with $2 beers, $5 cocktails and glasses of wine, and special pricing on dishes including beef sliders, roast bone marrow and Oysters Rockefeller.
The viewing party is open to the public. To make reservations, which are highly recommended, call 702-407-5303.
And, if you can't make it to The Barrymore or someplace close to the hotel-casino, you can watch it from the comfort of your home on 13 Action News. A special show hosted by anchor Beth Fisher will begin at 1:50 a.m. June 14.
