Tickets are now on sale for one of the hottest parties of the year.
The 30th Annual Black & White Party is taking place Aug. 20 at the Aria hotel-casino on the Las Vegas Strip.
The party, which is a major fundraiser for Aid for AIDS of Nevada, will feature a voyeuristic and interactive environment, allowing guests to interact not only with one another, but also with the setting around them. Surprises are sure to be in store as Aria's ballrooms are transformed with elevated, avant-garde decor.
As a "Right to Wear Red" year, local individuals will be allowed to wear color in a sea of monochromatic fashions, as a symbol of gratitude for their hard work and dedication to AFAN's commitment to making Nevada AIDS-free. Everyone else is required to wear either black or white or both.
There will be plenty of food and drink from the top chefs and mixologists in Las Vegas and entertainment by some of the best performers in the city.
The party will also feature a silent auction. Some of the items available this year include four show tickets to "Divas Starring Frank Marino," four tickets to see the Nathan Burton's comedy magic, two tickets to see the Pet Shop Boys at The Cosmopolitan, four tickets to see the "Tommy Wind Magic Show," tickets to see Olivia Newton-John, tickets to see the Blue Man Group, and more.
All proceeds for the night will go directly to benefit AFAN's clients for supportive services for those individuals living with or affected by HIV.
Tickets are $50 general admssion and $125 for VIP.
