New Restaurants in Las Vegas
Vincent Rotolo’s new Good Pie location on Main Street opened December 1 for pizzas and slices, pickup and delivery. Dine-in is not available at this time, however the bar is open for cocktail service only. Rotolo’s specialty is the Grandma, which is a square thin crust pie. Good Pie is also known for its vegan and gluten free pizzas. Don’t miss the “Good Hot” Detroit-style pie with caramelized cheese crust and layered in Calabrian chili, spicy sausage and jalapenos, drizzled with Mike’s Hot Honey.
Next door to Good Pie, Main Street Provisions from Kim Owens and Justin Kingsley Hall opens on Dec. 10. This highly anticipated restaurant will serve comfort food for the modern soul with interesting proteins, vegetables and creative culinary interpretations. One featured cocktail is the St. Lucia made with Appleton rum, tea syrup, lime and bubbles. While their menu has not yet been released, sneak peek shots on Instagram showed roasted pasture bird, Louisiana popcorn rice, funeral potatoes and citrus butter cake. Also, check out their Instagram for reservation information.
The holiday bars are in full swing, and Miracle on Spring Mountain is taking over The Sand Dollar Lounge. It is an explosion of decorations and good cheer, plus cocktails in fun festive cups. Guest chefs are popping up and doing specialty pizzas for charity. This week, check out James Trees from Esther’s Kitchen making pizza on Wednesday, December 9; a first night of Hanukkah vodka-latke party, Thursday, December 10 with free latkes while they last; and Brian Howard from Sparrow + Wolf does pizza on Sunday, December 13.
Check Out Hanukkah Dinner from Bagelmania
Bagelmania has a feast for the Jewish holiday, starting Dec. 10. It is available to order Dec. 9 to 18. Order all the favorites a la carte or a feast for two with brisket, challah, latkes and more for $75.
