Japanese cuisine hot spot, Sushi Ichiban, is now open at 520 Fremont Street, Suite 150, adjacent to the historic El Cortez Hotel & Casino.
The 2,718-square-foot space located at the base of the Emergency Arts building, houses a fresh, all-you-can-eat ($27.95 per person) and a la carte menu with delectable appetizers to kick off the experience, including coconut shrimp, bacon and rice cake, corn cheese, cucumber salad with crab meat and more.
Of course, sushi takes center stage inclusive of a wide range of nigiri including uni, scallops, yellowtail, red snapper and more, along with specialty rolls such as the Golden Knight Roll with soft shell crab, onion crunch and peanut butter topped with spicy crab meat, spicy garlic ponzu and yum sauce; Jackpot Roll with shrimp tempura and cucumber topped with shrimp, spicy crab meat, crunch eel and spicy yum sauce; Red Rock Roll with spicy yellowtail and cucumber topped with tuna, avocado and spicy garlic ponzu sauce, to name a few.
