Rock band Chicago plans to return to Las Vegas in September

LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Due to popular demand, one of the most successful and critically acclaimed rock bands of all time – Chicago – announced today it will return to The Venetian Theatre inside The Venetian® Resort Las Vegas in 2021 for the fourth year in a row for a three-show limited engagement. The shows will be held on Sept. 15, 17 and 18, 2021 at 8 p.m.

Tickets start at $49.95, plus applicable fees, and will go on sale to the general public Friday, Jan. 29 at 10 a.m. PT. A limited number of VIP packages will also be available. Tickets will be available for purchase at Ticketmaster.com or Venetian.com and any box office at The Venetian Resort or by calling 702.414.9000 or 866.641.7469.

Chicago fan club members will have access to a pre-sale beginning Tuesday, Jan. 26 at 10 a.m. PT. Grazie Rewards club members and Live Nation customers will receive access to a pre-sale beginning Wednesday, Jan. 27 at 10 a.m. PT. All pre-sales will end Thursday, Jan. 28 at 10 p.m. PT.

Hailed as one of the "most important bands in music since the dawn of the rock and roll era," the legendary rock and roll band with horns, Chicago, came in as the highest charting American band in Billboard Magazine's Top 125 Artists Of All Time. And Chicago is the first American rock band to chart Top 40 albums in six consecutive decades.

Chicago was recently announced to receive The Recording Academy’s Lifetime Achievement Award from the GRAMMYS. The Lifetime Achievement Award celebrates performers who have made outstanding contributions of artistic significance to the field of recording. A special award ceremony and tribute concert celebrating the honorees was held on October 16, 2020 on PBS.
Chicago was inducted into the 2016 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. This was their first nomination.
