October is National Vegetarian Month and multiple restaurants are celebrating by offering specials or highlighting their vegetarian menus.
Ike’s Love & Sandwiches is offering their Doris Day sandwich made with vegan chicken, honey mustard and pepper jack for $7 every Tuesday in October. Other vegetarian sandwiches like the Mac Daddy, Gramps, James & the Giant Peach and Handsome Owl will be available for just $10 during the month of October.
The LINQ Promenade is also celebrating National Vegetarian Month. Chayo Mexican Kitchen + Tequila Bar offers a variety of vegetarian and vegan options. The breakfast menu includes chilaquiles and corn enchiladas. Favorite Bistro’s many vegan and vegetarian dishes include steel-cut oatmeal, buttery croissants and vegetarian pizza. Maxie’s offers 3 kinds of avocado toast, buttermilk pancakes and classic bagels with cream cheese. Off The Strip Bistro + Bar serves a veggie skillet make with eggs and asparagus and a vegan protein quinoa bowl. Flour & Barley Brick Oven Pizza has an arugula and kale salad, tomato capers salad and spaghetti all vodka. Gordon Ramsay Fish & Chips offers the vegetarian Dirty Fry #2 made with crispy potato chips, truffle, parmesan cheese and fresh chives. Jaburritos has Gardein “steak” or tofu and side dishes including endgame, seaweed salad and miso soup. Meat-free options at Virgil’s Real BBQ include vegan black bean burger, crispy hush puppies, potato salad and coleslaw, mac-n-cheese and buttermilk biscuits. The Yard House also offers Mac-n-cheese, a Beyond burger, Wisconsin cheese curds, onion ring tower, tomato bisque and cheese pizza. Offerings at the Tilted Kilt Pub & Eatery include a flatbread pizza, Bad Arse Brussels, a Beyond burger and salad.
Bugsy & Meyer’s Steakhouse at Flamingo Las Vegas has introduced an all-new seasonal prix fixe vegan and vegetarian menu for National Vegetarian Month. Starter options include a choice of warm heirloom beets and pumpkin made with honey yogurt goat cheese, sorrel, purple endive, caramelized pecans and toasted pumpkin seed; or young coconut, ceviche style with red bell pepper, cherry tomatoes, onions and topped with coconut foam. For the entrée, guests can choose between forest mushroom cannelloni made with heirloom tomato essence, petite arugula and aged balsamic or roasted cauliflower steak served with root vegetables mousseline, fall vegetables and fine herbs oil. For dessert, guests can select fresh berries or sorbet.
Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill at Caesars Palace offers a vegetarian pesto sandwich made with pistachio pesto, provolone cheese, peppers, caramelized onions, roasted tomatoes and watercress served on savory zucchini cheddar bread. Gordon Ramsay’s HELL’S KITCHEN offers several items including pan-seared tofu scallops, vegan risotto, pumpkin soup and Beluga lentils.
Nobu Restaurant & Lounge at Caesars Palace is offering a multi-course vegetarian and vegan Omakase menu for $100 for National Vegetarian Month. Menu highlights include Vegetable ceviche, chef’s selection of sushi (such as tofu skin, myoga and shiitake), avocado tartar, mushroom soup and more.
Despite being traditionally known for serving the finest cuts of meat in the city, Old Homestead Steakhouse at Caesars Palace welcomes guests looking for a vegetarian meal to enjoy the flavorful black truffle pappardelle pasta served with an assortment of seasonal vegetables.
Rao's at Caesars Palace features a menu with several vegetarian options. Highlights include fried green tomato caprese, prepared with breaded and fried thick-sliced green tomatoes, topped with sliced buffalo mozzarella and drizzled with fresh basil pesto, a balsamic reduction and microgreens; as well as ravioli purses, made with beggar purse ravioli stuffed with Bartlett pears, ricotta cheese, brown butter, sage and dried cranberries.
Bobby Flay’s Mesa Grill at Caesars Palace is known for its twist on Southwestern cuisine with bold, inspired flavors. The vegetarian cornmeal crusted chile relleno is made with porcini mushrooms, cotija cheese and a sundried chile sauce. A vegan version is also available.
Restaurant Guy Savoy at Caesars Palace is featuring Chef Guy Savoy’s artichoke and black truffle soup. Having been perfected for more than 30 years, it is served alongside toasted mushroom brioche and black truffle butter. For a vegan-friendly variation, guests can request the dish be served without parmesan cheese and toasted brioche.
Fulton Street Food Hall, the chef-driven marketplace inside Harrah’s Las Vegas, features a mouth-watering Beyond Burger at its new live-action breakfast, burrito and burger station. The Beyond Burger is made with a grilled Beyond plant-based patty, topped with lettuce, tomato and Fulton signature sauce and served on a brioche bun.
Guy Fieri’s Vegas Kitchen & Bar at The LINQ offers unique entrées to satisfy vegetarian cravings, including the Morgan’s veggie burger, a house-made vegetable burger of black beans, chickpeas, white beans, black olives, red bell pepper, garlic, artichoke hearts, jalapeño and oats topped with lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, donkey sauce, and onion straws, all served on a garlic-buttered, toasted whole-wheat bun.
The recently reopened Martorano’s at Paris Las Vegas offers a vegetarian take on classic fare with the eggplant stacked, a breaded eggplant pan-fried and layered with homemade mozzarella, marinated tomatoes, arugula and slices of D.O.C. Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese.
