August 5 is National Oyster Day and there are several places to enjoy oysters in the Las Vegas.
The Oyster Bar at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino is celebrating National Oyster Day on Aug. 5. Their offerings include:
East and West Oysters – served with lemon, cocktail sauce or mignonette ($16 for a half dozen, $32 for a dozen)
Oyster Shooters – cucumber gin or classic spiced tomato vodka ($10)
Fried Oysters & Pickles – served with buttermilk caper sauce ($14)
Fried Oyster Po’Boy – jalapeño mayo, iceberg lettuce, tomato and pickle ($16)
And on Tuesdays and Thursdays, Oyster Bar offers oysters for $1 each with the purchase of a beverage (must have Backstage Pass).

The Barrymore will be serving oysters for $1 in celebration of National Oyster Day.
The Venetian's Mercato Dell Pescheria's Crudo (raw) Bar features East and West Coast oysters that are flown in daily for your seaside delight. Enjoy a sharable shellfish platter or a personal $7 Mercato oyster plate (available from 3-6pm on happy hour) in celebration of National Oyster Day.
