LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Another specialty museum will be opening its doors soon in Las Vegas.

Museum of Selfies, an interactive museum that explores the history of the selfie, is opening its first location outside of California on Oct. 25.

The museum has had a successful opening in Hollywood, Calif. from last year, and this new spot will be on the Vegas Strip inside the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood hotel-casino.

“We are so excited to expand the Museum of Selfie brand to Las Vegas,” said Kate Kutepova, co-founder of the museum. “The iconic Las Vegas Strip is so Instagramable in itself; we can’t think of a better place to debut our next installment.”

The family-friendly attraction is expected to feature similar photo opportunities as its Hollywood location - including the two-sided illusion Bathroom Selfie and emoji pool - with interactive experiences.

Guests will have Instagram-worthy photos and a better understanding of the selfie along with its meaning, according to a spokesperson.

The Museum of Selfies Las Vegas will officially be open Sunday-Thursdays from 10 a.m. – 11 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. – midnight.

Pre-sale tickets start at $17 for children and $23 for adults and will be available here.
