LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — A popular local brewery will be expanding in Southern Nevada.
Crafthaus Brewery announced plans to open its second taproom in the Las Vegas valley with a new location in the Arts District.
The new digs will be located at 197 California Street, just south of Charleston Boulevard, and is expected to stay loyal to the brand along with a downtown neighborhood vibe.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held on Sept. 28 at 4 p.m. to celebrate the grand opening. Guests can enjoy free 4-oz. pours of CraftHaus beer, an owners meet-and-greet with specialty beers available.
Crafthaus' owners Wyndee and Dave Forrest have had their brewery in Henderson for over five years and say this second taproom will help meet the demand for their craft beer.
CraftHaus Arts District will feature more than 20 taps with 16 devoted to CraftHaus brews, four guest beers, cider, Vesta coffee, and white wine.
A bites menu will also be available featuring grain-soft pretzels with beer cheese or beer bacon jam made with CraftHaus beer.
The Forrests' said they built the brewery around the community, and this new spot will make their beloved brews accessible to locals and visitor.
