Check out Decadence in the Desert this week

Posted
Las Vegas locals and tourists have one last chance to experience Decadence in the Desert, a culinary and art event featuring dozens of local artists, delicious food trucks, lively entertainment, and sampling of artisanal Ethel M Chocolates, before the event takes a break for the summer.

The family-friendly event is taking place from 4 to 9 p.m. May 19 at Ethel M Chocolates, 2 Cactus Garden Drive. Admission is free.

In addition, guests will have the opportunity to sample several freshly made gourmet chocolates in the new tasting room and take a stroll through the botanical cactus garden featuring more than 300 varieties of cacti and desert plants. Tickets to the tasting room are $9.99.

Decadence in the Desert takes place the third Thursday of the month and will be closing for the summer months after May. The event will return in the fall.

A portion of the proceeds from the event will be donated to Opportunity Village, a non-profit organization that serves children and adults in Southern Nevada with intellectual disabilities.
