LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Galaxy Theatres are bringing new state-of-the-art technology to Las Vegas this April 5.
Galaxy Theatres’ new Luxury+ Boulevard will be home to Las Vegas’ largest screen and first all-Laser projection theatre in addition to the first Sony Digital Cinema in the world.
The Sony Digital Cinema will feature Sony’s dual laser projection system, which delivers a 4K picture and Dolby ATMOS sound.
The auditorium features the largest screen in Las Vegas at 4 stories tall by 7 stories wide.
The new theatre combines Sony’s latest laser projection technology with Galaxy’s brand of hospitality in a luxurious environment while offering premium quality amenities.
The theatre’s opening weekend April 5 to 7, will be full of surprises including giveaways and money-saving deals.
Galaxy Theatres Luxury+ Boulevard invites moviegoers to be the first in Las Vegas to experience the Sony Digital Cinema during the auditorium’s first public screening of “Shazam!”, April 5 at 7 p.m.
The Hollywood style premier will feature giveaways, including a Sony 55-inch TV, “Shazam!” posters; cosplayers and even more surprises.
To celebrate the grand opening, the theatre will offer medium sodas and medium popcorn for only $1 each all weekend long.
Galaxy Theatres Luxury+ Boulevard will also feature a convenient quick service café offering a full, deluxe menu, as well as premium quality concessions.
Deluxe offerings will include pretzel sticks, cinnamon gooey bites, nachos, hummus plates, salads, burgers, pizzas, kid’s meals, desserts and more.
Specialty cocktails, beer and wine will be offered at the full-service bar.
The theatre will be located inside Boulevard Mall at 3680 S. Maryland Pkwy, Ste 182, Las Vegas, NV 89169.
