Las Vegas Strip headliners Celine Dion and Britney Spears are set to be recognized at the Billboard Music Awards later this month.
Dion will receive the Icon Award, which is a lifetime achievement award and said to be one of the most prestigious Billboard awards an artist can receive. She will also perform Queen's "The Show Must Go On."
Spears will receive the Billboard Millennium Award, which acknowledges outstanding career achievements and influence in the music industry.
Both Dion and Spears have residencies at the Strip -- the first at Caesars Palace hotel-casino and the latter at Planet Hollywood hotel-casino.
The awards ceremony is being held at the new T-Mobile Arena on May 22 and the show will be broadcast live on 13 Action News.
For the first time in Billboard Music Awards history, viewers on the West Coast will watch the show live along with fellow fans on the East Coast.
