Thousands of motorcycles roared into downtown Las Vegas this weekend for the annual Las Vegas BikeFest.
The annual event includes a large bike show, poker runs and walks, demo rides, biker bingo, autograph sessions, a Miss Las Vegas BikeFest competition, Artistry in Iron contest, Master Builders Championship, live entertainment and more.

Some of the bands performing this year include the Branscombe Richmond Band, Gypsy Flight, Cyanide, Publin Draught, Daze Gone By and Burn Unit.
Some of the vendors include AMP Moto Works, Bad Dog Tools, Big Bear Choppers, Black Bike Wheels, BMW Motorcycles of Las Vegas, Colorado Custom, Crank and Stoker, Discount Biker Supply, DNA Corp., Evil Vinyl, GMR Marketing, HA Leather, Indian Motorcycle Company, Jery Hut, Kool Ridez, MG Motorcycle Gear, MotorCult, Outlaw Threadz, Phantom Bikes, Rowdy Girl's Bikinis, Russ Brown Motorcycle Attorneys, TES Covers, TNT Biker Apparel, U.S. Biker Art and many more.
Other reasons to check out the bikefest include a chance to win a brand new motorcycle (one bike given away each day of event), $1,000 shopping spree giveaway, Las Vegas Motorcycle Hall of Fame, more than $100,00 in cash and prizes, a tattoo contest, multiple vendors, and a variety of food and beverages.
This year's event is being held on Fremont East between 8th and 10th Streets (road closures will be in effect). Registration for the bike show will be held at the Golden Nugget. There will be shuttles from the Golden Nugget to the festival area for registered attendees.
Hours are 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sept. 30 and Oct. 1 and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 2. A party pass is $45 per person and an ultimate pass is $70 per person. Or, general admission tickets are $15 per day or $25 for the weekend.
