LAS VEGAS (KTNV) — Another big name is coming to Park Theater at Park MGM.
Janet Jackson will begin performing at the theater in May with additional shows in July and August.
The 15 dates going on sale are:
May 2019: 17, 18, 21, 22, 25, 26J
July 2019: 24, 26, 27, 31
August 2019: 2, 3, 7, 9, 10
Tickets for “Janet Jackson: Metamorphosis” will go on pre-sale at 10 a.m. March 1 for M life Rewards loyalty members as well as Live Nation and Ticketmaster customers at ticketmaster.com. Sales to the general public begin at 10 a.m. March 2.

Janet Jackson is the youngest child of the Jackson family. She began her career in the variety television series “The Jacksons” in 1976. She also starred in the sitcoms “Good Times” and “Diff’rent Strokes” and the musical drama “Fame."
She signed her first record contract in 1982 and became a pop icon following the release of her her third and fourth studio albums Control (1986) and Rhythm Nation 1814 (1989).
In 1991, she signed the first of 2 record-breaking multimillion-dollar contracts with Virgin Records and became on of the highest-paid artists in the industry.
Her fifth album “Janet” in 1993 established her as a “sex symbol.” That same year, she starred in the movie “Poetic Justice.”
Her seventh album All for You (2001) coincided with a celebration of her impact on the recording industry as the inaugural MTV Icon.

In 2015, she partnered with BMG Rights Management to launch her own record label, Rhythm Nation, and released her eleventh album Unbreakable the same year.
Jackson has sold more than 100 million records and is one of the world’s best-selling music artists.
