Golden Fog Coffee will open at the new shareDOWNTOWN residential apartment complex in downtown Las Vegas’ Arts District on Oct. 10. To celebrate its grand opening, Golden Fog Coffee will offer free drip coffee all day and 20% off all other menu items.

Owned by native Las Vegan and local artist, Derek Douglas (known professionally as SNIPT) and his wife Juliet, Golden Fog Coffee reflects their individual passions for art, coffee, and tea.

Golden Fog Coffee will exclusively carry Sightglass Coffee, an independent, sibling-owned coffee company based in San Francisco that practices small production methods to deliver the highest quality coffee roasts. Golden Fog Coffee is Sightglass Coffee’s first presence in downtown Las Vegas.

Golden Fog Coffee will prominently feature art throughout its storefront, including a gallery wall with work from various artists and a wall with a rotating mural. For the opening, the inaugural mural will be a typography style creation by Conor. A monthly pop-up program will also offer limited edition cups, t-shirts and other merchandise branded by Golden Fog with local artists’ creations.

Golden Fog Coffee also reflect the Douglas’ plant-based lifestyle. The menu will be 100% vegetarian and will not charge a “vegan tax” or higher prices for plant milks or vegan food items. In addition to specialty coffee drinks and more than 20 loose leaf teas from Tealet and Rishi, Golden Fog Coffee will offer a curated selection of vegetarian pastries and grab-and-go snacks, such as croissants, turnovers, bagels, granola, hummus, and cookies.

Given the increased demand for cashless payment, Golden Fog Coffee will be a completely cashless establishment with kiosks and an app for ordering and payment.

A working artist under the name “There She Is” and a longtime food and beverage industry professional, including as a manager of a premier vegan restaurant in Los Angeles and most recently overseeing the opening of JuiceFarm at The Palazzo, Gina Sage will serve as the general manager of Golden Fog Coffee. She will be joined by Sean Atkinson who will leverage his decade of experience in hospitality and specialty coffee as lead barista.

The 1,400 sq. ft. space will offer comfortable seating for approximately 35 guests (at full capacity), including bar seating with charging stations and outlets along expansive windows that create the perfect spot for those working remotely. Golden Fog will also have patio seating along Casino Center Boulevard.

Golden Fog Coffee will be open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sundays.
