April 16 is National Eggs Benedict Day.
Maxie's at The LINQ Promenade are inviting guests to celebrate the day by indulging in one of their four towering benedict boxes:
Eggs Benedict: Applewood bacon, poached eggs, sliced tomato and hollandaise sauce, packed inside a hollowed brioche loaf.
Guacamole & Chorizo Eggs Benedict: Guacamole, chorizo, pico de gallo, poached eggs with honey chipotle lime and hollandaise sauce, packed inside a hollowed brioche loaf.
BBQ Brisket & Egg Benedict: Beef brisket, poached eggs, BBQ sauce, caramelized onion, peppers and hollandaise cause with a dash of hot sauce, packed inside a hollowed brioche loaf.
Pastrami Benedict: Sliced pastrami, poached eggs, crispy fingerling potatoes, Swiss cheese, caramelized onions, coleslaw and hollandaise sauce, packed inside a hollowed brioche loaf.
Cabo Wabo Cantina is celebrating with its homestyle CW Eggs Benedict. The dish takes a Tex-Mex twist on the classic breakfast staple, made with machaca and chorizo, melted pepper jack cheese and poached eggs on a freshly toasted English muffin, topped with hollandaise sauce. The dish is completed with a side of Cabo Wabo’s crispy breakfast potatoes, perfect for dipping in the runny egg yolks and hollandaise sauce, yum! The CW Eggs Benedict, along with Cabo Wabo’s full breakfast menu is served daily until 11 a.m.
SG Bar is also celebrating the day by offering a classic eggs benedict for $13 that ncludes a toasted English muffin topped with Porchetta, poached eggs and hollandaise sauce. For $14, try the SG Benedict, which includes two buttermilk biscuits topped with breakfast sausage, poached eggs, country gravy and cheddar cheese!
Cafe Americano's classic benedict is made with shaved Canadian bacon, poached eggs and housemade hollandaise sauce served on top of an artisanal English muffin. Served with hash browns or home fries. $24.
