Oak & Ivy, American craft whiskey cocktail bar located in the heart of Downtown Las Vegas' Container Park, is celebrating being named #2 Whiskey Bar in the U.S. by Yelp! with a customer appreciation party.
On May 17 from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m., the bow-tied bartenders of Oak & Ivy will be serving up their famed signature Whiskey Smash cocktails for $5 with 100% of the proceeds benefitting the Boys and Girls Club of Southern Nevada.
Oak & Ivy will commemorate the prestigious Yelp! ranking and award from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. with happy hour cocktails, complimentary limited-edition Oak & Ivy pins and a plaque presentation.
In addition to celebrating this achievement, Oak & Ivy will recognize its lead creative bartender, Gregory Rodriguez, for his National Restaurant Association “Star of the Bar” regional competition win.
Rodriguez will continue on as a semi-finalist to compete in Chicago at the BAR Event where finalists will be selected by an audience vote.
Past special guest judges have included celebrity chefs Anthony Bourdain, Tom Colliccio and master mixologist Tony About-Ganim.
