In celebration of World Kindness Day (November 13), Cox Communications is kicking off Free Admission Fridays at the Clark County Museum, Las Vegas Natural History Museum and Nevada State Railroad Museum, Boulder City.
Cox Free Admission Fridays are planned for Nov. 13, Nov. 20 and Nov. 27 at the three museums listed below:
- The Clark County Museum, located in Henderson at 1830 S. Boulder Hwy., features a modern exhibit hall with a timeline about Southern Nevada from pre-historic to modern times and a collection of restored historic buildings that depict daily life from different decades in Las Vegas, Boulder City and Henderson. - The Las Vegas Natural History Museum is a private, nonprofit institution dedicated to inspiring a better understanding and appreciation of the world, the sciences, and ourselves and is located at 900 Las Vegas Blvd., North. From the desert to the ocean, from Nevada to Africa, from prehistoric times to the present, the Las Vegas Natural History Museum takes visitors of all ages on a learning adventure around the world. - Nevada State Railroad Museum, Boulder City, located at 601 Yucca Street in Boulder City, tells the important history of railroads in Southern Nevada and is home to the Nevada Southern Railway.
