The City of Henderson is presenting a new four-week series featuring local artists and showcasing music, dance and poetry while celebrating National Arts and Humanities Month.
First up is Las Vegas gypsy jazz band, the Hot Club of Las Vegas. Six culturally diverse and skilled musicians blend their musical experiences to create original modern gypsy jazz compositions that are both familiar and exotic. Their Las Vegas-flavored gypsy jazz style brings a modern vintage sound to the songs of Django Reinhardt, the American Songbook and popular hits.
The Hot Club of Las Vegas will perform on Sept. 26 at Henderson City Hall.
The free live stream will be available beginning at 7 p.m. on here.
As is the case with each performance in the series, there will be no live audience, and social distancing, masks and safety protocols are in place for the safety of staff and artists.
